Linda Johnston, R.N., B.S.N.

Clinic Nurse

Linda graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 1986. She has nearly 20 years experience in nursing. She joined Dr. Hitchcock’s practice in 1999 and has been both Dr. Hitchcock and Dr. Hoehn’s general surgery nurse.

At the Bariatric Center of Kansas City, Linda assists patients with pre and post-operative questions, schedules surgery, coordinates completion of consultations and cares for the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass patients and their post-operative needs. She enjoys helping patients achieve their goals and seeing how the surgery changes their lives in such a profound, positive way, while improving their health and well-being.

In her spare time, Linda enjoys competing in barrel racing competitions and rodeos. She has been raising and training barrel racing horses for 15 years.
