Nola Bienhoff, RN, BSN, CBN

Program Coordinator

Nola Bienhoff has been the Program Coordinator since the Bariatric Center of Kansas City began in the fall of 2002. Her responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of the weight loss surgery program including marketing, insurance issues, coordination of care, hospital liaison, staff management, patient care, credentialing, website design/maintenance, patient education and support groups.

Nola received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.   She has experience in several fields of nursing, including telemetry, public health, and dialysis.  The majority of her career has been in surgical nursing with the past 20 years in the office of Drs. Hitchcock and Hoehn in patient care and office management.

Nola is an Allied Health Member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and became credentialed as a Certified Bariatric Nurse in March, 2008.  Nola's concern has always been care for the patient as a whole, but finds working for insurance coverage of weight loss surgery and with the patient support groups particularly gratifying.
